escrow agent or title company to sign loan papers and conduct the settlement.
However, due to a number of coalescing market factors in the past decade,
not the least of which is a bend-over-backwards desire on the part of lenders
and closing agents to convenience the borrower, a market has been created
for Notaries Public to travel to a borrower's home or office to coordinate the
loan signing.

notarizing loan document singing. Usually, hired as an independent contractor
by either a real estate lender, a closing agent (i.e., a title or escrow firm), or a
signing service to ensure that loan documents are delivered to and signed by
a borrower, then notarized as necessary and returned for processing in a
timely manner.
